HOLD*BLAST is an active surface passivator that stops the formation of flash rust for days after use.  It's economical, non-hazardous, and easy to use.

In use with wet abrasive blasting equipment, it is recommended to start with a mix of one liter of HOLD*BLAST per 50 liters of potable water in the holding tank.  No rinsing is required, but if the surface is to be rinsed, such as to remove particulate matter, the same 1:50 solution is recommended.  Typical holding time for holding the blast is approximately 72 hours.
